Ahmad Butt
Ahmad Butt is a psychotherapist who earned his M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College on the Fulbright Scholarship. His training combined rigorous academic study with extensive clinical practice, giving him a strong foundation in trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based approaches. His professional experience includes providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy at Boston Post Adoption Resources in the U.S., where he worked with clients navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Ahmad has practiced in both Pakistan and the U.S., bringing a cross-cultural perspective that enriches his understanding of how culture and context shape the healing process. He has also worked with Intimate Partner Abuse Education Programs in the U.S., co-leading groups that support accountability, partner and child safety, and long-term relational change. Ahmad takes a trauma-informed, integrative, and relational approach, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. He helps clients explore different parts of the self, cultivate self-compassion, and build more trusting relationships, often integrating mindfulness and creative methods to encourage authentic growth at a pace that feels right for them. He works with individuals, couples, and families, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in reconnecting with their own capacity for healing and growth.
