Daheem Din
I’m Daheem Din, a Marriage and Family Therapist practicing since 2006 seeing clients across borders. My clinical practice which is close to 2 decades has exposed me to several themes that couples and families face such as trauma-bonding, codependency patterns, insecure attachment styles, narcissistic abuse My focus in therapy is relational, that is,to facilitate individuals, couples and families to find a meaningful relationship with self and others. In my view relationships carry a delicate balance of comfort and growth. Over years of practice I have witnessed the intricate dynamics of relationships, where our unconscious shapes our interactions and we co-create the relational space we live in. I also believe that our body carries emotional patterns, and by unearthing these patterns and behaviors we can move towards self-awareness, insight, and meaningful change within self and our relationships. While working with individuals passing through different transitions and challenges of life, I help them build on their agency and internal resources by reconnecting to their innate potential to grow. I’m grateful for the privilege of witnessing the process of change that clients go through.
