Fatmah Qayum
Fatmah is a relational integrative therapist based in Lahore, holding a Master of Science (MSc) in Counseling from the University of Northampton. As a member of the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP), she adheres to their ethical framework for good practice. Fatmah has been running a private practice in Lahore since 2019. Specializing in adult psychotherapy, she caters to individuals seeking deeper insights into life and relationships through both short and depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, work-related stress, burnout, life transitions, trauma, abuse, grief, bereavement, and loss. Fatmah is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients. She collaborates with them, encouraging active participation to build self-awareness and address past and present challenges. Adapting her approach to each individual’s needs, she integrates person-centered, psychodynamic, and psychosomatic theories in her interventions, incorporating internal family systems (IFS) and parts work principles. In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, Fatmah works with creative tools such as mandala art, mood cards, drawings, and inner-child exercises. Informed by trauma and culturally sensitive practices, her approach is grounded in creating a safe space for exploration. Welcoming clients aged 18 and above, Fatmah offers both short-term and long-term contracts, providing a secure and confidential environment for individuals to explore their concerns, emotions, past/present experiences and relationship with themselves, others and the wider community.
